Blockers

Strawberry Twist

• First seen on level 3721
• Can be up to 4 layers
• Can be horizontal or vertical.. which impacts the blast direction
• Are stationary and will not move when surrounding candies are removed
• Each hit removes a black section
• Makes a ringing sound before it goes off
• When there is no black left it explodes sending a blast out hitting the entire row or column similar to a striped candy

• Hearts will go through removing all layers and set it off

Cookie Cups

• First seen on level 3581
• Can be up to 7 layers
• Cookie cannot move until it is down to one layer (just a cookie)
• Match next to it or hit with special candy to remove a layer
• Special candy and moves can pass through it doing damage and hitting objects next to it

Ice Cream

• First seen in the Summer Sunny Tales event August 2020
• Can be up to 6 layers
• Match next to it or hit with special candy to remove a layer
• Are stationary and do not drop when candy is remove beneath them
• Special candy and moves can pass through it doing damage and hitting objects next to it

Hazelnut Crunch

Flavor/Sets

• First seen on level 2941
• Can be up to 11 layers
• There are different flavors/sets which are different colors
• All on the board of a set are tied together so hitting 1 removes a layer from all of that set
• Hazelnut Crunch blockers are stationary and do not drop when candy is remove beneath them
• Striped Candy can NOT pass through them
• Hearts do pass through them 1 at a time and hit the rest of the set for 1 layer
• Bubblegum Troll's Bubble Blast can bounce along Hazelnut Crunch blockers hitting it several times
• Rachel's Rainbow Candy can go through the Hazelnut crunch

Carrot Cake

• Can be up to 6 layers
• First seen in the Spring Stories event April 2020
• Are stationary and do not drop when candy is remove beneath them
• Match next to it or hit with special candy
• Special candy and moves can pass through doing damage and hit the candy after it
• Hitting one will make it hit the Carrot Cake next to it

Marmalade

• First seen in Jelly Queen Event
• Has up to ? Layers
• Similar to licorice locks
• Matching under it will allow candy to flow through
• Special candy remove 1 layer with each hit
• Must match with candy in to or hit with a special candy to remove a layer
• Color Bomb + Coloring Candy Combo only remove 1 layer

Caramel Cups

• Can be up to 6 layers
• Nutcracker does extra damage when he uses his move on them
• Are stationary and do not drop when candy is remove beneath them

Licorice Swirls

• Stops striped candy from passing through
• Will drop down the board as objects are remove beneath them
• Can be stuck in a licorice lock, mints and gummy candy (stuck licorice swirls do not stop striped candy from passing through
• Purple jam will fall through if another blocker is not blocking the flow
• Can drop from a dispenser

Licorice Locks

• Can hold both candy, special candy and licorice swirls
• Purple jam will fall through if another blocker is not blocking the flow
• To remove match the candy in it with 2 others or use a special candy to hit it or using a color bomb with that color
• Just matching next to it will not remove

Mint

• Red Rabbit does extra damage
• Match next to it or hit with special candy
• You can see what is stuck in them when you get down to 2 layers
• Can contain candy, special candy and licorice swirls

Licorice Links

• Licorice Links have up to 4 layers
• Removing one will also remove any that are linked to it even if it is 4 layers. (You can see the string between the Licorice Links)
• Best to focus on one of the attached Licorice Links as hits to others will have no impact since you can just remove 1 to remove all that are on the same string

Poprocks

• Can be up to 6 layers
• Match next to it or hit with special candy
• Hitting one will make it hit the Poprocks next to it

Empty Fish

• Match next to it or hit with special candy to fill
• Once filled 4 fish are released

Fizz

• Has up to 4 layers
• Match next to it or hit with special candy to reduce a layer or set off
• Will hit anything next to it by 1

Blue Fizz

• Has up to 4 layers
• Match next to it or hit with special candy to reduce a layer or set off
• Will hit diagonally from its corners for 2 squares
• Damage can cross gaps
• Introduced during the Bubblegum Troll quests and level 1661 in regular game

Gummy Candy

• There are up to 6 layers in Gummy Candy
• Match next to it or hit with special candy
• You can see what is stuck in them when you get down to 2 layers

Raspberry Twister Cake

• Each match beside or hit will remove 1 of it's 8 raspberry stripes
• Simliar to candy crush cake bomb
• Matching 2 fish or fish landing beside does not hit it
• After the raspberry stipes are removed it will explode and hit everything on the board once
• It takes up 2x2 squares on the board

Chocolate Eggs

• Remove by matching beside or hitting with special candy
• Removing adds 5 more moves

OctoSmash

• Hit or match next to it for 1 hit revealing 1 of its 8 tentacles with each hit
• Needs 8 hits to set off all the tentacles to hit around it
• Color bomb + Color bomb combo = 1 Hit
• It takes up 2x2 squares on the board
• Coloring candy + Color bomb = removes all layers (good for when your combo does not clear all blockers)
• Each of his 8 tentacles hits the squares in their direction 2 deep fo 2 hits damage (if near the edge does not get full impact)

Heart Locks

• First seen in level 2241
• Has up to 6 Layers
• Hearts cannot go through and remove a layer with each hit
• Special candy remove 1 layer with each hit
• Removing a candy beside it hits it once including removing with a color bomb

Waffle Cookie

• First seen in level 2019 Holiday Calendar
• Has up to 5 Layers
• Layers can be removed with special candy, matching the candy beside it or removing the candy beside it with a color bomb
